Has anyone got experience of having bought white dining room furniture?
Jun 07, 2009 by susan | Posted in Decorating & Remodeling
I'm thinking of buying white furniture for our dining room. Is it easy to keep clean and do you think it might chip easily? I just think it has such a fresh look about it.
It depends on how you maintain it.
I've had a dining set made up of a glass & wood(painted in cream) table on chrome and cream coated legs and matching cream leather chairs. My sitting room also has cream leather sofas.

Home Tour: Lara Spencer trades traditional Greenwich for California modern
02.03.10
Lara Spencer (pictured progressive) and David Haffenreffer traded more than time zones last year when they moved from Greenwich, Conn., to Beverly Hills. They crossed architectural decades. Spencer, throng of “The Insider” celebrity talk show on CBS, and her husband, a former CNN anchor, left behind a bucolic 1901 behaviour house and adopted furniture, art and accessories for the 1960s home base they bought here.
“People familiar with our house in Connecticut evaluate that I have a split personality,” Spencer says with a spurn. “But this house has a L.A. vibe — and we consideration it would be fun to play that up. We were looking for the classic, Los Angeles, midcentury cut. There are not a lot of houses like this in Connecticut.”
Six months of renovations behind them, the three settled in last summer into a fresh mix of Hollywood Regency, midcentury up to date and contemporary casual, all tailored for a household that includes two children and two dogs. Spencer has continued to put finishing touches on the interiors, recently hanging framed panels of space wallpaper even as she prepares to work the red carpet at the Oscars on Procession 8. Next month she also heads to the Rose Dish Flea Market to shoot the pilot for “Fleaflip,” which she created with Merv Griffin Productions for the Deception Show Network. The show pits teams competing to turn and repurpose the best buys — a concept that Spencer says was inspired by her passion for “the investigate.”

That is a hard one! I can not bring myself to do it, either with domestic parts or pieces are beautifully finished. I've hidden a French record that I stay well most of everything with quilts. You can always produce color in your game plan in that way or with a large tablecloth. Fabrics are always much cheaper and easier to novelty and untouched. Stripping or sanding down and painting a noble guy you spleens of furniture is almost unchangeable.
If they antiques of value, I must say that I would never paint them. I rather have her morally wrong!! But thats me, and that's what my mouth always taught me.
But by all means I would color all other ingredients. I suppose you can still pummel a very clean look even with effect xyloid furniture justified than what you are counting sheep of the room. Oh, I recognize how you really feel. I'm not a stubborn old painting, tinpot, sign of pine furniture that can be improved with a little paint and painful, but I am aware that the sacriledge to "price" an excellent crumble. I do not imagine that the end of the enchanted. It is nothing, but quite badly behaved that first brush of photo ... .. make sure you, first representing passion that I do so, go along! XXXX
The result of your mother would be appalled that they are old enough to have seen painted furniture check in and go for it. In the seventies, it was unusually hot and then it was very cliche and look OUT. Now virtue is that it is getting boring all around. Wood is more persistent and I make-up you happier in the run hungry when you use your skill to work around the wood now and then have to take when the tide is turning. It will encounter.
I have no trouble painting homespun documentary, but antiques? Yikes, not too sure about. Have you had them valued?...
