Window Installation

As a standard component of our service, care is taken to remove
existing windows so we do not damage existing stucco or interior
wall. Old windows are not removed unless new windows can be installed
at that time. This ensures that your home will always remain secure
and protected from Mother Nature.
1.
Removal of All Stops
You window sash
is help in place by exterior and interior wooden stops strips that
must be remove first.
2.
Removal of Sash Hardware
Next the sash
with the glass panes are removed along with any hardware they came
with or that remain on the window frame.
3.
Clean-up of Sub-frame
Finally, the
sub-frame is cleaned up, removing any obstructions and old hardware
that might still be attached to it. The old windows and materials
are then moved from the property.
4.
Installation of the New Window
Your new custom
fit windows are installed by our professionally, factory-trained
technicians. Installation of the trim is the final step. Great care
is taken to provide a neat, clean, and finished appearance.
5.
Insulation and Trim Wrap
Once fastened
to the sub-frame, insulation is applied to the space between the
sub-frame surface and new window casing to ensure complete weather-proofing
of the window.
Optional: The exterior trim can be covered with a vinyl wrap to
match the new vinyl window. By adding this feature, the entire exterior
of the window will be completely maintenance free.
6.
Window Clean-up
All stickers
are removed from the windows and then cleaned. All old windows and
doors are removed from the job site along with excess debris.
