Manufactured from fiberglass “strands” and pulled through
a series of heated dies, this frame is made from the strongest,
most durable material we’ve found. It never needs painting
or scraping and will always stay true, even in the wettest weather.

Milgard’s
sliding glass door is designed with beauty and function in mind.
Only the finest grain VG Douglas Fir is used to manufacture the
interior veneer. Each door is beautifully crafted to strict specifications
and designed for years of everyday use. The strongest marine grade
adhesives bond the fir veneer to the fiberglass core, producing
one of the strongest and most attractive sliding glass doors in
the industry.
Tough
on Hardware
Our sliding
glass door offers a single point, single throw locking mechanism.
The standard polished brass interior handle is clear coated to keep
it from tarnishing, and the color-matched exterior handle compliments
the exterior baked-on enamel finish.
Milgard tests
every piece of hardware to make sure it exceeds California’s
tough entry codes. So you can be sure your door will continue to
perform when you need it most.

sliding glass doors, you’re afforded nearly limitless flexibility
when selecting finishes. Our wood interior can be stained or clear
varnished to match existing woodwork from a maple to a cherry appearance,
and just about everything in between. Even though their fir is stain
grade, you can paint it to match your interior woodwork.
Choose between
White, Sand, Hunter Green, or Brownstone, or you can paint your
door a custom color to match your exterior color palette. Either
way, you have the ability to customize your door to your own taste
and design requirements.
