Sunset Staff Profile of the Month!

Billy Pedrino
Vice President of Operations

Improving homes for residents of Southern California is what the Pedrino family has been doing for over 55 years and it will be up to William “Billy” Thomas Pedrino carry on this legacy.

Ever since Billy was a little kid he was always helping out his dad, Don Pedrino, out on the job, installing windows and doors. From picking up the garbage to holding the nail pouch, he was there.

After high school Billy spent 6 years in the United States Marine Corps and after an honorable discharge, he returned to California to rejoin the family practice, applying himself as an apprentice in general contracting trade.

“After much thought I realized what the industry needed were more masters of a specific trade rather than jack of all,” he said, as he focused on the vinyl replacement window sector of the home improvement industry.

Since taking the position of Vice-President in 2000, Sunset Home Improvement has grown tremendously, moving into a larger factory/showroom facility in El Segundo in 2000 and opening up a new factory/showroom in La Vern, California in 2003.
Sunset Home Improvements can directly attribute this growth to the sound business practices employed by Pedrino family since 1948. Not only is Billy carrying on this legacy, he has established his own.

Billy Pedrino is an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and loves to play golf and racquetball when he gets a spare moment from running the business and being a father of four.
